Please wear only assigned dance wear. This enables the instructor to observe body movement and alignment so that proper corrections can be made when necessary.  All hair needs to be pulled back away from the face. Ballet students are required to have their hair in a bun. Appropriate footwear is important; wearing the suggested shoe is required to get the most from your classes.

Why Proper Dance Shoes Matter

Having the correct dance shoe is an important part of a dancer's training. Proper dance shoes are designed specifically for the movement, support, and flooring used in dance classes. They also help protect our studio floors.

Over the years, we have found that some lower-quality or "knockoff" dance shoes purchased through online retailers, including Amazon, can have soles and materials that are not appropriate for our dance floors. Unfortunately, these shoes are causing damage to the studio floors.

For this reason, we strongly recommend purchasing your dancer's shoes through the studio so we can ensure that they have the appropriate style and good quality shoe for their classes.
